EN 50332 Testing Solution

EN 50332 is the EU standard for hearing protection safety of portable audio devices with accompanying headphones, which limits the maximum sound pressure of headphones entering the ear to prevent irreversible hearing damage caused by long-term high volume. Earphones exported to the EU for TWS headphones, headsets, and mobile phone players must meet this standard and comply with the relevant acoustic safety provisions of GB 4943.1-2022 in China. EN 50332 consists of two parts: ① EN50332-1: General method for kit equipment (including player and headphones), maximum sound pressure level of kit ≤ 100dB (A) ② EN 50332-2: Earphones and players tested separately, with the maximum output voltage of the player ≤ 150mV; broadband characteristic voltage of the headphones ≥ 75mV

Headphone ENC Call Noise Reduction Testing Solution

Using ABTEC high-precision audio analyzer and acoustic testing accessories, a standardized communication acoustic environment is established to objectively quantify the uplink ENC (environmental communication noise reduction) of TWS earphones. Mainly by comparing the MIC curves of the earphones in the ENC on and off states, the full frequency band noise reduction depth is accurately quantified.

Headphone ANC Testing Solution

This plan is aimed at TWS and headphones, and based on IEC, ETSI, and domestic audio industry standards, a standardized acoustic testing system is built. Relying on sound field simulation, human head simulation, and high-precision electroacoustic detection equipment, it covers the entire process of ANC performance testing, including research and development debugging, quality verification, and mass production quality inspection. Mainly by comparing the ear canal sound pressure data of headphones with ANC turned on and off, the core indicators such as full frequency band noise reduction depth, ANC background noise, transparent sound quality, and noise reduction stability are accurately quantified.

Headphone Acoustic Testing Solution

The headphone electroacoustic testing system is a highly accurate, flexible, and scalable integrated electroacoustic testing platform. The core service covers the entire process of headphone research and development, targeting core requirements such as circuit debugging, acoustic structure optimization, and performance boundary verification during the research and development stage, to achieve precise quantification of audio and acoustic performance indicators, problem localization, and parameter iteration. Different from the "compliance judgment" of the mass production quality inspection system, it focuses more on "deep analysis, flexible debugging, and multi scenario verification", and is the core R&D support equipment for headphones from scheme design to mass production implementation.

The car microphone is the core component for car voice interaction (navigation, voice control, communication), active noise cancellation (ANC), and in car sound field acquisition. Its audio performance directly determines the speech recognition rate, noise resistance, and communication clarity. By using the high-performance audio analyzer independently developed by Aptec, combined with acoustic testing accessories such as electroacoustic testing interface, artificial mouth, standard microphone, and sound calibrator, the acoustic characteristics of the microphone can be tested.
